Police Cadet's information Session Q&A
Are you aged 13 – 18 years old? Do you want to help improve and support your community? Good news, our advert for applications to be a Volunteer Police Cadet opens on Monday 31st March 2025 at 10am! This Police Cadet opportunity allows you to develop your skillset and strengths through a structured programme to enhance relationships between local communities and the police. As a Police Cadet, you will be able to take part in community events for a minimum of 3 hours per month, visit different police departments such as the Dog Section, Firearms Unit, Mounted Branch, Roads Policing Unit and Scenes of Crime Unit and gain an insight into the basic rules and laws of policing! There are no entry requirements, we just ask that you have a positive attitude with the desire to help other people.
