Closing Loops World Cafes:

This autumn FoodFutures are officially launching their new project 'Closing Loops'. Through the project they'll be supporting community-led action and local initiatives to transform waste into a valuable resource whilst cultivating a circular and regenerative local economy.

As part of the launch they're hosting World Cafes across North Lancashire. They have two final world cafes coming up and would like to invite you to join them in Morecambe or Caton for a relaxed evening of delicious food and inspiring conversations. All events are in the evenings and start at 5.45pm with food served at 7.30pm.

Our 2023 FarmStart Programme is now open for applications!
Are you interested in growing food on a commercial scale, or setting up a small-scale horticultural business? Would you like to play an active role in setting up new food growing enterprises around North Lancashire? We are looking for a group of committed, enthusiastic and local trainee FarmStarters to join our team at our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) market-garden at Old Holly Farm (near Garstang) and Polytunnel in Whitelund (Morecambe) for a full growing season of hands-on training in 2023.
