Clear the clutter. Cut the risk
Clear the clutter. Cut the risk.
Around half of accidental house fires in Lancashire start in the kitchen—but many can be prevented with simple habits.
One of the biggest risks? Items left too close to the hob. Tea towels, oven gloves, even packaging or shopping bags can easily catch fire if they’re left nearby.
Keep anything flammable at least an arm’s length (about 50cm) from the hob.
A clear hob is a safer hob.
