Residents experiencing financial hardship can still apply for help from the Government’s Household Support Fund to pay for essential living costs.

Anyone can apply for the funding if they are over 16 years old, live in the Lancaster District and can prove that they are struggling to make ends meet. The types of short term support the fund can help with include utility bills, essential housing costs, appliances and other items.
