The next round of the Lancashire Community Food Grant Scheme is now open for applications. The grant scheme is for community groups within Lancashire and is aimed at local organisations within the voluntary, community and faith sector, including parish and town councils, that deliver projects to tackle food insecurity.

Groups can apply for up to £3,000 and there is a total of £127,000 funding available in this round.

Funding can be used on:

  • Equipment
  • Venue hire/premises costs
  • Volunteer and organisational training
  • Volunteer expenses
  • Food
  • Projects and activities that build resilience of service users
  • Organisational staff costs

Applicants who have previously received funding from the Lancashire Community Food Grant Scheme are eligible to apply, as long as they have completed and returned the project progress report for their grant.

The closing date for applications for the current round is Sunday 15th January 2023. An advice and Q&A session for groups looking to apply will be held on Thursday 8th December.
